Who we are
Far Cornel is run by a small Australian editorial team who camp, fish and get off-road themselves. We are gear buyers first and publishers second — we spend our own money on this equipment and we know how frustrating it is to drop hundreds of dollars on something that fails on its first real trip. Everything here is written for that person: someone standing in a store or scrolling a product page, trying to work out whether a product is actually worth it.

We prioritise gear that earns its place — the equipment that gets used often, holds up over time, and is worth the money — over whatever happens to be most heavily marketed.
